Specification Quality Checklist: Derive the mission-state audit's CI trigger list
Purpose: Validate specification completeness and quality before planning Created: 2026-10-12 Mission: spec.md
Content Quality
- ✅ No implementation details (languages, frameworks, APIs) — stays at behaviour/outcome level
- ✅ Focused on maintainer value and the drift/defect class being closed
- ✅ Written for the maintainer/automation audience
- ✅ All mandatory sections completed
Requirement Completeness
- ✅ No [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain (complete written brief; none deferred)
- ✅ Requirements are testable and unambiguous
- ✅ Requirement types are separated (Functional / Non-Functional / Constraints)
- ✅ IDs are unique across FR/NFR/C/SC and match the grammar
- ✅ All requirement rows include a non-empty Status value
- ✅ Non-functional requirements include measurable thresholds (<2s; identical set on repeat)
- ✅ Every FR row and success criterion carries a delivery label and no-op mark
- ✅ Success criteria are measurable
- ✅ Success criteria are technology-agnostic (outcome-level: RED/GREEN, mirror removed, suites pass)
- ✅ All acceptance scenarios are defined
- ✅ Edge cases identified (vacuous capture, order-sensitivity, abnormal fixture path)
- ✅ Scope is clearly bounded (add test + remove hand copy; no runtime change; no router edit)
- ✅ Dependencies and assumptions identified (grounding note; 33/33 covered)
Mission Readiness
- ✅ All functional requirements have clear acceptance criteria
- ✅ User scenarios cover primary flows (drift-catch; unification)
- ✅ Mission meets measurable outcomes in Success Criteria
- ✅ No implementation details leak into specification
Notes
corpus the audit executes 33 src/ modules, all already matched by the existing mission_state globs — so no ci-router.yml edit is required (C-002).
