Specification Quality Checklist: Implement command degod (tidy-first)
Purpose: Validate specification completeness and quality before proceeding to planning Created: 2026-10-04 Mission: spec.md
Content Quality
- ✅ No implementation details (languages, frameworks, APIs) — seam module names appear because the mission is a structural move; they name the existing domain owners, not a technology choice
- ✅ Focused on user value and business needs
- ✅ Written for non-technical stakeholders (Intent Summary + user stories); requirement rows address maintainers
- ✅ All mandatory sections completed
Requirement Completeness
- ✅ No [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain
- ✅ Requirements are testable and unambiguous
- ✅ Requirement types are separated (Functional / Non-Functional / Constraints)
- ✅ IDs are unique across FR-###, NFR-###, C-### and SC-### entries, and match the requirement-ID grammar
- ✅ All requirement rows include a non-empty Status value
- ✅ Non-functional requirements include measurable thresholds
- ✅ Every FR row and success criterion carries a delivery label and no-op mark
- ✅ Success criteria are measurable
- ✅ Success criteria are technology-agnostic (line and patch-site counts are the measurement of the structural goal)
- ✅ All acceptance scenarios are defined
- ✅ Edge cases are identified
- ✅ Scope is clearly bounded (C-005)
- ✅ Dependencies and assumptions identified
Mission Readiness
- ✅ All functional requirements have clear acceptance criteria
- ✅ User scenarios cover primary flows
- ✅ Mission meets measurable outcomes defined in Success Criteria
- ✅ No implementation details leak into specification beyond the named seams
Notes
- Grounding: research/code-grounding.md (decisions D1–D10), research/test-remediation.md.
- Decision Moment 01M4455PBFDASHQ7R9DN5ZQRMW resolved the #5232 shape (option B), with C-007 as the escalation guard.
- Post-specify squad (architect-alphonso, reviewer-renata) verdicts: accept-with-changes; all HIGH and MEDIUM findings folded into this revision (dispositions recorded in research.md at plan).
