Specification Quality Checklist: Implement-Loop Commit & Move-Task Hardening
Purpose: Validate specification completeness and quality before proceeding to planning Created: 2026-07-15 Feature: spec.md
Content Quality
- ✅ No implementation details that constrain the design (code loci are scope anchors for a brownfield fix/degod, behavior stated in FRs)
- ✅ Focused on user value (reliable loop from any cwd; single placement authority)
- ✅ Written for stakeholders (Purpose is legible; technical detail confined to Domain/Entities)
- ✅ All mandatory sections completed
Requirement Completeness
- ✅ No [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain
- ✅ Requirements are testable and unambiguous
- ✅ Requirement types are separated (Functional / Non-Functional / Constraints)
- ✅ IDs are unique across FR-###, NFR-###, and C-### entries
- ✅ All requirement rows include a non-empty Status value
- ✅ Non-functional requirements include measurable thresholds
- ✅ Success criteria are measurable
- ✅ Success criteria are technology-agnostic (outcome-focused)
- ✅ All acceptance scenarios are defined
- ✅ Edge cases are identified
- ✅ Scope is clearly bounded (Out of Scope pins the #2160 boundary)
- ✅ Dependencies and assumptions identified
Feature Readiness
- ✅ All functional requirements have clear acceptance criteria
- ✅ User scenarios cover primary flows (5 WPs → 4 acceptance scenarios)
- ✅ Feature meets measurable outcomes defined in Success Criteria
- ✅ No implementation details leak into specification beyond scope anchors
Notes
anchors, not prescribed implementation. Squad-validated structure (planner-priti): 5 WPs in 2 file-linearized lanes.
- Brownfield mission bundling 4 sub-issues of #2160; code loci recorded as scope
