During the maintainer landing of PR #2670, an adversarial squad surfaced four pre-existing debt items that repeatedly turn the shared main branch red or hide latent defects: a recurring test-shard registration gap, a parallel-test isolation flake, an unguarded set of sync remediation commands, and a cluster of type-check errors. This mission consolidates them into one quick-follow so contributors stop losing time to avoidable red CI and the affected surfaces regain single-source integrity.
