Specification Quality Checklist: Charter directive-resolution hardening
Purpose: Validate specification completeness and quality before planning Feature: spec.md
Content Quality
- ✅ No implementation details leak into user-facing scenarios (FR bodies name the seam, which is the mission's whole point — an internal robustness change)
- ✅ Focused on operator value (less I/O; a visible signal on stale entries)
- ✅ All mandatory sections completed
Requirement Completeness
- ✅ No [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain
- ✅ Requirements are testable and unambiguous
- ✅ Requirement types are separated (FR / NFR / C)
- ✅ IDs unique across FR-###, NFR-###, C-###
- ✅ All requirement rows include a Status value
- ✅ Non-functional requirements include measurable thresholds
- ✅ Success criteria measurable
- ✅ Acceptance scenarios defined
- ✅ Edge cases identified
- ✅ Scope bounded (perf + observability only; no behavior change)
- ✅ Dependencies/assumptions identified
Feature Readiness
- ✅ All FRs have clear acceptance criteria
- ✅ User scenarios cover primary flows
- ✅ Meets measurable Success Criteria
Notes
- Internal robustness mission; "no implementation detail" is applied to intent, not to the seam names that ARE the deliverable.
