Specification Quality Checklist: CI uv-sync resilience for test-shard jobs
Purpose: Validate specification completeness and quality before proceeding to planning Created: 2026-10-13 Mission: spec.md
Content Quality
jobs and the install step (the domain of the work) but leaves the helper's language/retry mechanics to planning
- ✅ No implementation details (languages, frameworks, APIs) — the spec names CI
- ✅ Focused on user value and business needs (unblocking the required merge gate)
- ✅ Written for maintainer/contributor stakeholders
- ✅ All mandatory sections completed
Requirement Completeness
- ✅ No [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain
- ✅ Requirements are testable and unambiguous
- ✅ Requirement types are separated (Functional / Non-Functional / Constraints)
- ✅ IDs are unique across FR-###, NFR-###, C-### and SC-### entries and match the grammar
- ✅ All requirement rows include a non-empty Status value
- ✅ Non-functional requirements include measurable thresholds (≤3 attempts, ≤15s backoff, complexity ≤15, zero lint/type issues)
- ✅ Every FR row and success criterion carries a delivery label and no-op mark
- ✅ Success criteria are measurable
- ✅ Success criteria are technology-agnostic (outcome-focused: gate not red, guards green, one shared pattern)
- ✅ All acceptance scenarios are defined
- ✅ Edge cases are identified (happy path, all-fail, bash-syntax guard)
- ✅ Scope is clearly bounded (C-005: three module-test shards + one helper)
- ✅ Dependencies and assumptions identified (grounding note; flakiness carve-out)
Mission Readiness
- ✅ All functional requirements have clear acceptance criteria
- ✅ User scenarios cover primary flows (transient recover, deterministic red, guard reds on regression)
- ✅ Mission meets measurable outcomes defined in Success Criteria
- ✅ No implementation details leak into specification
