Specification Quality Checklist: DRG Reachability Metric & Orphan Wiring
Purpose: Validate specification completeness and quality before proceeding to planning Created: 2026-08-11 Feature: spec.md
Content Quality
- ✅ No implementation details (languages, frameworks, APIs) — DRG/edge/reachability are domain terms, not tech stack; no code structure prescribed
- ✅ Focused on user value and business needs (maintainer/agent/future-mission value)
- ✅ Written for non-technical stakeholders — domain-literate but not code-level
- ✅ All mandatory sections completed
Requirement Completeness
- ✅ No [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain
- ✅ Requirements are testable and unambiguous
- ✅ Requirement types are separated (Functional / Non-Functional / Constraints)
- ✅ IDs are unique across FR-###, NFR-###, and C-### entries
- ✅ All requirement rows include a non-empty Status value (Open)
- ✅ Non-functional requirements include measurable thresholds (100% / zero / identical-set / ratchet direction)
- ✅ Success criteria are measurable
- ✅ Success criteria are technology-agnostic
- ✅ All acceptance scenarios are defined
- ✅ Edge cases are identified (incidence-vs-reachability, inert edges, cascade moves, circular pairs, depth)
- ✅ Scope is clearly bounded (C-004 excludes B2)
- ✅ Dependencies and assumptions identified (A1/#3301 prior art; research findings)
Feature Readiness
- ✅ All functional requirements have clear acceptance criteria
- ✅ User scenarios cover primary flows (metric / wiring / curation)
- ✅ Feature meets measurable outcomes defined in Success Criteria
- ✅ No implementation details leak into specification
